I'm Jacob Farness, founder of Farness Tax Prep. Since 2013, I have dedicated myself to tax preparation, developing deep expertise to provide clients with clarity, confidence, and strategies tailored to their unique financial needs. My journey began with seasonal work alongside full-time positions, including an eight-year career as a commercial driver. Over the years, I realized my true passion is helping individuals and businesses navigate the complex world of taxes, which ultimately led me to establish my own independent practice. 

In 2024, I launched Farness Tax Prep to offer the best of both worlds—the knowledge and skill of a large accounting firm combined with the dedicated, personalized service only a small business can provide. As an Enrolled Agent (EA), I am federally authorized to represent clients before the IRS in all tax matters, whether managing personal taxes, running a business, or facing complex IRS issues. This credential, combined with over a decade of hands-on experience, allows me to be in YOUR corner for every aspect of your tax journey.
